i have a gas trimmer and i never have to go fetch a battery.

i also don't have to look like a femine bitch while weed eating my man yard.

i run ethanol gas for my entire existence and have never had a problem with my equipment cause of it. i also don't buy shite equipment.
years ago i had a gas ryobi weedeater/blower combo... that was terrible. frick ryobi.

Regardless, you will spend much more time unpacking and pouring that shite than I will ever spend popping a battery on and off. It's not even close. It's kind of ridiculous that this is the fight you're picking.

i fetch my gas can right next to my equipment. i fill up my cans when it's convenient that i already need fuel for my vehicle. you pussies are incredible with your bogus beneficial reasons. i would appreciate if you would just scream "I'm a peacock, you gotta let me weedeat with my electric trimmer!"

Folks around here can pull an argument out of their asses over anything.
It doesn't matter what you weed eat with, as long as it works for you. Hell, sometimes I just spray and forget it, particularly in the middle of Hellish July and August.

Same place that you go to already probably once a week.

You seem to be taking this kind of personally.
We get it. You're a holdout. Why not let us use electric equipment and put tampons in our asses in peace?

quote:Ive got the same one, interchangeable battery with blower that is also good. As long as yard isn't massive it's awesome.
I bought an electric black and decker about five years ago and I'm glad I did.

In September I’m watching Football in the backyard listening to them switching batteries. Equipment and time matters.
You probably don't hear anything because electric lawn mowers are much quieter than your gas equipment.
I have two 40v batteries and can mow my entire front and backyard and trim before they die.
My blower uses an 18v battery and at 280 CFM it does just fine to clean off my driveway / sidewalk.

I use both fairly often. I'm not sure which one of you I should be bitching at.

I'm not hear going to let you you rave about the futile conveniences on social message board without getting called out on it. You might as well buy velcro fricking tennis shoes instead of laces cause that has about the same fricking futile benefits as well since bending over and tying your fricking shoes must be a big ole fricking chore too. A good gas weed eater will last 15 years, your batteries are going to be replaced 3 or 4 times inbetween those times. Your killing the oil economy and the production of batteries on this planet is killing koala bears.

I bought the ECHO 52V trimmer and blower, trimmer with battery was $249, then the blower was $160 i think?
blower uses the same battery. I live on a 1/4 acre lot so it's not much to space to deal with but the battery is plenty to cover both the trimmer and blower on one charge.
my recommendation fwiw.

I'm not dealing with ordering oil online to save a trip to the store. I'm not dealing with pouring gas, priming and cranking and shite. I'm just getting shite done. Feel free to do whatever necessary to feel better about yourself, though.

get this, some times i start weed eating without needing to fill tank. Zoom... i'm halfway down the driveway already!

About as wasted as the mental exercies of remembering... "are my batteries charged".

having fun ordering $100 + batteries when they shite the bed in a few years. Batteries shitting the bed is a certainty.

I do, when my start my weedeater with my manly pull string, i grab it and rev up the engine for the hood to all hear my dominance being inserted over my neighbors feminine ryobi.
