I haven't left south Louisiana in 13 years. I've seen all I need to see.

This is the weirdest statement I've read in a while.

I don't. It's fricking overrated. Every where else sucks compared to America anyway.

I really have no desire to now. I would like to travel more in the US, but I have no desire to go international.

That’s another thing. I would be content limiting my travels to the US. Plenty of cool shite to do here.

I just feel there is a lot to conquer, master, and indulge in at close range. Plenty of awesome people in the same city that I’ll never meet.

The world is amazing. Get out of your bubble and comfort zone. Go see, explore and live life to the fullest every chance you get.

I don’t understand “being content”, would probably be a less harsh wording of what I meant. Being content with what you know and not wanting to experience new things doesn’t make sense to me.

I feel like you are insulting me just because I value different experiences from you. Have all your world travels produced this open mind that you have?

I've been to more countries than you've gotten hits on your "financial planning" cold calls

I experience new things every day. Then again, I have a rewarding career, a rich family life, and I socialize with a fairly large network.

Not at all. Do what makes you happy. I love traveling. My brother never travels and is like you. He spends his money elsewhere. No shame it that

Honestly, I work to earn money to travel. Going to Belize with my GF tomorrow morning. But I don’t have kids so I understand why my brother wants to spend money on his 3 children.

I’d rather live somewhere for a few years, then move somewhere else for a few years.

I didn’t say I don’t like it, for the record. I just know I don’t care nearly as much about it as most others seem to.

Funny you say that. I’ve kind of done that. I really, really love to explore my cities. That is sort of traveling, I guess. Same thing I enjoy doing when I do travel.

Helps to live in big cities.
