it’s nice, but I can do without it. I feel like it’s almost like sacreligious to say that now, like I’m supposed to want to go all over the world.

I get a lot of enjoyment out of a lot of cool stuff, and I don’t need to go far to do any of it.

For me, it brings books and stories to life. It's thrilling.

I get that, and it’s true for me, too. But if I never travel again, I doubt I’d regret it.

I’m not saying I think it’s stupid or anything like that.

Thank God I'm not friends with you man. You sound like an absolute fricking blast to hang out with.

I love it but now that I have two kids, the idea seems a little less romantic.

Wow, what a hostile a-hole you are. Live and let live, Mr. Friendly.

I travel as often as possible.

It not only makes you a more well rounded person, but life would be extremely dull without it. At least in my opinion.

The SO and I tend to give trips as gifts to each other rather than things.

I traveled for work for about 10 years and got burnt out on it. I'm as cultured as I'm gonna get.

I find a strange enjoyment in standing in places where historical events took place. Like the theater where Lincoln was shot, or the room that General Lee surrendered the CSA to Ulysses S Grant.

Can’t beat it. Can’t experience those feelings from looking at a photo. That’s just me though.

I don’t really understand willful ignorance.

I have a curious mind and always want to learn new things. Traveling is the best way to expose yourself to new experiences.

I used to love traveling. Can't stand it now, although I travel when I have to.

I agree with your post. Very few places worth spending hard earned money to visit for a week or 2. I don't get it.

Same crowd that idolizes traveling are the ones who can't have a child's birthday party without open bar.

Lighten up on the planning. Traveling’s more awarding when you do it with open plans. I like winging it.

I do too, but that’s just one of the things in life that I enjoy. If I don’t get that feeling for a while, I’m fine with that. I don’t live for it.

Where would we be if we couldn't travel to Gulf Shores or Destin every year?

I was able to travel all over the world up through my mid twenties because of my dad's job.

I really have no desire to now. I would like to travel more in the US, but I have no desire to go international.

I'm not a big fan of traveling but don't mind it. Prefer three/four day weekend getaways. Am also comfortable at home and doing things around town and the surrounding area
