Not burned out, but not having all day to spend at LSU considering having to get to campus at 9am to park, tailgating, walking around, etc.

Uber early on gameday really isn't that bad (9am-Noon)

Is this thread just 7 pages of justifying being fair weather fans?

I can’t wait for the season. I love seing my people, the tailgates, the atomoshere and just enjoying the games

I got season tickets in my name on Tuesday for the first time in my life after getting them through someone for the last 15 or so years.
Got some really good lower level tickets. All I can think of is some sap gave up his tickets to protest against coach O, only to allow my brother and myself, who attend every game and never leave games early fill those seats.
So no I’m not burned out, I can’t think of a better way for me to spend a Saturday in the fall!

The 'poor sap' doesn't give a shite anymore imo
There's a reason there isn't a waitlist anymore

Then wait in traffic for an hour to just get off campus. Might take 90 minutes or longer to get to I-10

And this too - all sports are having attendance issues. People are done with the obscene costs of tickets, parking, food, beverage, etc, etc

That's what I've done for the past 3 years.

The only games I attend at tiger stadium anymore is LSU/bama every two years. Only because my wife went to bama and my parents live close to Lsu campus. The game day experience for me died like 6 years ago—to much of a pain in the arse. I would prefer watching the game at my house or a bar.

I’m sure LSU prefers normal fans that leave before halftime

If championchips were in recent memory it’d be less of a drag. No one looks forward to being disappointed

I also got season tickets on Monday for the first time since the dark days of Curley Hallman due to being in the military. Since I retired, I’ve been buying them from someone. I look forward to going to campus to tailgate because it give me the opportunity to see a group of friends I don't normally see outside of football season.

I'll make one every now and then. I guess I'm just older and more surly because it just isn't as fun/worth the hassle.
I firmly believe the environment in the stadium pales in comparison to 10-20 years ago. Even the tailgating doesn't seem as fun as it once used to.
I'm not sure, but (tailgating) things seem more spread out and tame.

this thread won't go well for you, but just know that there are many more that do feel this way, but won't actually say it...
as most of y'all know, I gave mine up about 3 seasons ago, b/c we only had 2 tickets, and it got too painful to see my little girl's face when we would leave to go to the game while she had to stay home without us, on a day off for both me and my wife (which is pretty rare)
the last couple of season before then, though, we started skipping the smaller games, and the whole tailgaiting thing started to be like a chore, like a "had to" rather than a "want to"...
I do miss the seats and stuff, from time to time, but I absolutely don't miss the post game traffic, trying to get back to Dutchtown after a night game... that shite started bad, and just got worse each season....

This year people should be excited. We have a hell of a schedule with some tough games at home... I hope whoever is filling the seats will be able to bring it when MSU, UGA and BAMA come to town.
I use to go to every game when I was in college and a few years after... But I got burned out and only go to a few home games a year.
When we are playing Tennessee Chattanooga, for me, it's not worth the traffic, etc, etc.. But when you have a good SEC match-up, man all the inconveniences are worth it.

I'm an alum and have had tickets for 27 years. I used to do road games and all that shite. But I'm not feeling it anymore. Just sorta done. Maybe I would really enjoy attending one game a year, but I am done making this effort 7-8 times a year. I just don't care as much as I once did.
Spot on for me. Been to 1 game over the last 4 years after about 15 years of tailgating, attending games, road games, etc. I think I need LSU Football rejuveme.
