Reason Tiger Stadium is a shell of it’s Former self.

I guarantee if they would allow re-entry at halftime there would be bigger crowds on the second half.
It would also cut down on people smoking on the concourses.

I got an e-mail today saying that my tickets would be shipped in a few weeks and I got as excited as I did when my first packet of tickets arrived in the mail decades ago.
Honestly, for all of the expense and inconvenience that it entails, there is no place that I would rather be on a Saturday during the fall than Tiger Stadium.
I can't wait for Sept 2!

Burned out? Yes.
I have no problem going to one or two of them a season, but I’ll never get season tickets again.
Way to much bullshite involved trying to go to a game in BR from NOLA. Especially for a crappy opponent.
Watching on tv from home is the way to go, unless they’re playing Bama, Ole Miss, Florida, etc.

Here’s what LSU has killed:
-extreme price hikes in parking and tickets have reduced overall gameday atmosphere
-poor decisions by admin have worsened the on-field product
Here’s what technology has done:
-there’s no ‘need’ to go to a game anymore. They’re all on Tv.
-The TV experience improves each season (HD, 3D, etc)
-other games are constantly on TV, more than ever before
Then there’s this:
-CFB may be on a bubble that’s about to come back down. Alums these days probably don’t want to pour money back into the university, much less the football team.
-Stadiums have been funded through donations, and upgrades are necessary to compete.
-BUT...where is the end? At what point will the cost get to be too much, causing the overall financial emphasis on football to drop down to where it was even 15 years ago?
It’s ironic...we pay so much to fund expansions to a stadium. Because of the rise in ticket prices (and issues stated above), those seats aren’t even needed anymore.
