I don’t want to spend more than like $80 ... I’ve had some expensive Ray-ban and Maui Jims. I always f em up ... need something that works well until I eventually lose/break em. Thx.

Del Sol are in that price range and each pair comes with a "coupon" that if you ever lose or break them you just send it in and they send you a brand new pair, you just pay shipping. The new pair will come with the coupon as well. So, basically pay once for infinite sunglasses besides shipping.

This will prolly be deemed trashy, but I got these cheap Carhart safety glasses for yardwork, and they've become my default sunglasses. No glare or blur or eye adjustment like a lot of others I've tried.

You should try Kaliyadi on Amazon.

I recently bought an expensive pair of Maui Jim's, but I realized I don't like always having to be so careful. These one's come 3 pair for $20. I was skeptical too. However, they are polarized, sturdy, and plenty stylish enough. I ended up buying like 20 of them. I've given 4 or 5 away (people love them) and then I leave pairs all over the place - the car, golf bag, etc.

I honestly think it's the greatest deal in retail I've ever seen.

Costco and Sam's club usually have some polarized sunglasses in the $20 range. Lenses are pretty good. They are usually Puma or Champion branded. They look fine for driving and hanging out with other costco shoppers.
As a side note.. I bought these to basically replace my $400 Oakley carbons which look awesome but the lenses are very average.
Side 2: Revo sunglasses are the best I have found but I damn near cry when they break

Depends on styling. I’ve got a pair of Wiley-X that have safety glass ratings so I can use while cutting grass etc... Very good quality.

This constraint is, by it’s nature, polarizing.

Echoing some of the other responses on here, if you can find Smith for the price you want, I like them better and they have held up better than any previous pair of Costas.

Suncloud is made by Smith, and brand new their lens quality is outstanding for the price. I had a pair I beat on for several years. They don't hold up well. But for the $50 price tag, you don't feel nearly as bad about beating on them.

I do the SunClouds as well. $45 and they hold up fairly well and are comfortable. I'm not even sure where my $200+ Costas are. Those things are so heavy my nose and ears would be sore at the end of the day if I wore them all day. They're great for fishing or out on the open water though. Much better than the SunClouds.

I'm going fishing this weekend, so I need to find those Costas though.
