then apply exactly 300 psi

This is my question. Wha adapter would i need.

I know the calibration steps, just not the standard process connection on the 2090 as it is on a 1151, or a 3051

this document explains the connection. looks like a special collar has to be welded on the pipe. then some type of clamp holds the transmitter on the pipe.

this company makes the collar... so maybe you could get a collar and have someone weld another collar on it to reduce it to something like 1/4 fnpt so you can hook your equipment to it.

If the links don’t help, reach out to John H. Carter or your local Rosemount sales contact. The techs can easily answer questions and provide quick support.

If tapping on the flux capacitor housing does to free it up the obviously the dilithium crystals are running low. This is covered in the Rosemount manual for the 290 on page 350.

2090 is marketed for pulp and paper but they're good for any application that tends to clog.

Capsule's bottom requires a specialty OEM weld-on process connection. There are aftermarket ones and they're not impossible to make one if you have a machine shop in house. You'll need to fab an adapter from the fine threads on the transmitter to NPT.

Rosemount has other non-standard connections they use for capillary dP and gP, call it an I-flange if memory serves me. We've made our own adapters for those.

The worst of employee is one that doesn't ask questions. You come to the OT instead of just asking at the workplace because you think that'll make people think less of you

Are you trying to adjust the range?

I’m assuming y’all have HART communicators.

Not true.I have been in the industry since 1997 and this is the first time I’ve ever seen a specialty instrument like this with a weird process connection. But thank you for your concern.

No, I’m not trying to adjust the range. Our client wants this bench tested to make sure the diaphragm is intact. They don’t want you to just push on it and see the milliamps go up.

Then you should have plenty of resources to tap into. Call your vendor/local Rosemont distributor and they'll point you in the right direction even if they don't know the answer
