I’ve got two toddler boys. Been holding off renovating the up and downstairs bathrooms and glad I did. Because now I’m 100% putting in urinals. Also putting a trough out back with an outdoor shower.

Just put one of these in the garage and run the pipes through the wall outside.

Just be careful if you throw a party. Most of the urinals I use have a 4” - 6” wet spot around them. I have to stand 6” beyond that, so I don’t get somebody else’s urine on my retro Air Jordan’s.

Wanted to put one in my pool house a couple of decades ago. My architect said “Nope” and gave me two folks to talk to about it.

One was wealthy and said he had one and couldn’t afford to get the piss smell out of the room it was in. The other said it lasted a couple of months before he paid to remove it.

tl/dr: Don’t do it.
