Very nice! Kind of goes back to that old black lady thread a few weeks back, but they were the sweetest ladies.

When is Wyly Tower coming down? I've seen architect renderings of it's replacement for that eyesore and looks great.

Or maybe its already down?

Still there. It's definitely a random arse building.

When it was in an old house it caught fire. House was saved but they couldn’t get it back in “restaurant shape” I guess good enough to pass inspection.

Or maybe that was Russel Bees, I can’t remember

Looks like I'll have to go find the answer to this next week. Lol
There was also Sara's Kitchen, now shuttered, near Ruston High and the big rumor was tht it wasnt uncommon for Sara to scrape uneaten food back into the pot.

That citgo going out towards the airport was weed central. Randomly stopped there once for beer and had a couple black dudes walk up to my truck asking me how much I needed

Ha! MLK Drive. RPD went on ahead and installed a surveillance camera in overlooking the parking lot to keep an eye on it 24/7. Anywhere else that would prob be subject of protest. Lol

I went for one quarter in 2005 during the fall when Tulane was shut down due to Katrina. They put me in Cottingham. All I had was the stuff I packed when I evacuated NOLA. Maybe 4 shirts...

One of the best semesters of my life. Got constantly hammered with my high school buds.

Dawg House was legit. Paw claws for life

I got into a lot of trouble at Rabbs.

Used to have the nickname of "the whiskey bar" because it was the only place in Ruston (well, technically Grambling) that sold hard booze.

I hate this , piece of my childhood and college days, took a bunch of classes in that tower.

I went to K-8 at AE Phillips which on the Tech campus, great times and I still have friends from there who are like brothers to me.
