re: AC will not come on

I’ll tell on my age here, but I once replaced my batteries in an upstairs thermostat without my glasses on. I set the unit to 77 because I never went up there. About 2 weeks later I went up and no air. Hot as all get out. Thermostat was on and set, I had put one of the batteries in upside down. The thermostat worked fine but didn’t activate the unit. Didn’t know that was possible until I got an AC guy out there. He told me it happens quite often (probably to make me feel better) but it is possible. I know this wasn’t the problem here but it’s worth noting.
I’d like to hear your story. You seem angry, as am I. I don’t understand, but I don’t need to feel the need to bash a thread with a nonessential comment as such as you made. Please tell us your thought process. If you are the lone downvote though, just escort yourself out please.
Yeap, it is extremely difficult to follow up a career round with another great round. I was kinda shocked they came out like they did. But they still have some holes left maybe they can catch a second wind.
They’re off to a great start today. Looks like they picked up right where they left off. If they can squeeze into the top 8, nobody wants to play a team that hot in match play.

Edit: 7 under thru 11 holes to start the day today is as good of a start as anyone could ask for.
I understand that, but only a fool with zero assets would think the accounting is easy bc it’s not cash. Actually I think it makes it that much more difficult.
I’ve always wondered how difficult his cpa’s job is. I have to imagine it could be a bitch to keep up with that much money.
This is now a chicken shite thing being taught in rec league and tournaments for 12 yr olds. I’ve seen this happen 3 times in the last month. If a runner is on third, the catcher smokes the batter in the helmet hoping the umpire isn’t paying attention. Then the coach can bitch that the batter was moving or stepping out so the batter can be called out. This is the newest episode of stupid shite being taught in rec league and travel ball. People are insufferable.

Keep us posted if you hear anything, that’d be really big news if true. I have asked some people that live out there and they haven’t heard anything about it being sold. I want to believe ha.

Last week a dump truck wasn’t paying attention and started to merge into my lane

Similar situation but mine was on a bridge on the interstate when he decided to come over. I had no where to go so I was sandwiched in between concrete and the truck. I floored in and that’s all I really remember, it was too late to brake as I was halfway between truck and trailer. I saw my life flash before my eyes until I woke up. A second or two faster or slower I would’ve been fine.

Come on man, don’t put out false shite. This is most likely caused by fracking. But don’t act like you know anything based on your post. Find me one SWD well in north la 15k feet deep. I promise I’ll wait. Rodessa doesn’t go that deep.
Is north of plain dealing Louisiana in play?
This reminds me of the boy throwing the starfish back into the ocean. Thousands of starfish are washed up on shore destined to die, and the boy is throwing them one by one back into the ocean. A man walks by and asks “what difference could you possibly make, as the boy tosses another he replies, “ it made a difference to that one”. What I mean is, they may never know how they affected someone else’s life, but our soldiers are certainly making a difference in someone’s life that they will never know this side of heaven. God bless these guys.

I will say a friend of mine’s insulin in about $175 cheaper a month. No he isn’t fat, just had a wreck when he was a kid and jacked up his pancreas. Good for him I sag
