Why didn't you place the TP holder on the side wall?

the door faces that wall and wife didn't want it visible when you walked past the bathroom.

damn near kicked out a franchise sales man once for wanting over 20K for a simple tub and vanity replacement.

Rebath? They quoted me 25k earlier this year. I wanted to fight the guy. I had already priced most of the materials and it was around $2500 for a bathtub insert (using the priciest options HD could offer) so IDK how he came up with that number for a single bathroom.

Look for a Bosnian. We used a Bosnian for the bathrooms at my SLC house. Cost <10K each. Of course Bosnians do excellent quality, but they cannot be called fast by any means.

Interesting. 30 years ago I never would have thought that I would have heard Bosnian and good craftsmanship in the same sentence.

Especially since it seemed like most of them were tending their land with the tools that were used in the movie Braveheart.

I spent right at $32,000 for two bathrooms in 2023. Worth every penny and probably one of the best purchases I ever made.

Do you want it done correctly or do want it just thrown together?

I have 2 smaller bathrooms. Anyone knows a Honduras guy that would take a cash job?

Doesn't anyone know how to actually do anything anymore?

I'm sure your wife is proud of you.

Nope. Put it next to regular trash and leave a $20 in an envelope for the garbage man. They will throw away anything.

i couldnt agree more. you saw those shitty 1970s shitty pics from before (granted my wife got on a tear & decided to rip the bathroom apart a few months back so it didnt look quite that bad to start with)

anyway, the point is i find myself using the guest bathroom more than any other bathroom in the house now its just so clean and everything is where it needs to be. if the wife is sleeping in and i've got be at work i'll go up there so i dont disturb her.

good bathroom remodels ARE SO WORTH IT

We did too and spent $35k renovating both. You can always find someone cheaper, but it is a unicorn if it is good quality.

That looks great!
Im looking to redo my master, also. Wanting to remove jacuzzi tub that's next to walk in shower and remodel the area into a large walk in shower with bench seating.

I’ve paid much more for “smoke and mirrors” that I then had to go finish other last 5% they’d never come do.

Which is great because then my wife gets to yell at me for the shite job that the contractor did as well as what I fricked up
