She is lobbying for a job at Buc-ees where she has a can’t miss plan to attract a new demo by going vegan and sugar-free.
Nah, she would probably start soliciting the goverment for BUCCEES to accept EBT for everything.

Fix the menu, service, cleanliness, etc., but to completely remove the soul of Cracker Barrel was misguided.

I was told the other day that Cracker Barrel is super White.

They definitely should have performed it in phases so it wasn't so sudden and triggered the negative PR
This. Totally botched the execution. In the go woke, go broke economy, they should’ve known they’d come under intense scrutiny following this attempted re-brand.

Long John Silver's - was actually good back in the 1980's, then they went to cheaper frying oils and cheaper everything else too
That crap was never good.
Most people who think this are not old enough to remember it. I have known international traveler foodies who are my age that still lament the old LJS.
For fried seafood, I would take 1985 LJS over any modern offering, including the likes of Legal Seafood and a couple of the top places in San Diego and the Bay Area that I've been to. And I really liked all of those places.

I think she may mean that the Northern travelers to the South are Cracker Barrel's main customers.
Which has always seemed to me to be true, because I've never really heard of any locals that go to Cracker Barrel. The only people I've heard of who go to Cracker Barrel are some people who are on some super long road trip and are super hungry and can't find any other restaurant within a 15 mile radius. Cracker Barrel food is dogshit and I'd only go there if there were absolutely no other options.

The only 2 times I've ever been is when friends were visiting from NY or Europe and wanted to go.
