Our society is moving so much closer to the Demolition Man timeline. Pretty soon people will be living sewers to escape being constantly scanned in the name of safety.

This period is going to have issues pop up for awhile as more audits take place.

When these are coordinated with the federal government and eventually controlled by them for our "Security", the audits will eventually die off.

This "frick Flock cameras" sentiment is going to last right up to the time a cute 6-yr old white girl with blonde hair goes missing and murdered. When the public finds out the cops had vehicle/tag info and could have saved the child except the LPR cameras were removed because of unpopular sentiment; well, those cameras will be reinstated countrywide in a heartbeat. All it will take is for every mother in this country to envision their little princess being abducted and there will be no more Flock opposition. You know it. I know it. Everybody knows it.

You can recognize that occasionally a blind squirrel finds a nut.

It's still a tool that departments are utilizing with little responsibility and that's a major, major issue for the general public.

I'm not disputing that. I'm just saying that public sentiment will quickly die down. And, sadly, when faced with a choice between liberty and perceived security, the American public goes for security every time.

they were serious about easing people's concerns about flock, then they would actually punish these offenders, instead of giving them a slap on the wrist. But they don't gaf about people's concerns.

I mean, did you actually read what you quoted? He was arrested.

The problem with audits are alot of depts dont even do them and if they did the number of these type of officers would go thru the roof but thats what happens when the police are policing the police.

NCIC has always been abused and very very few were caught and it widely known that it was taking place because no one cared unless it became major issue.
