Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth added in the written statement: “While we never take these decisions lightly, we want to ensure that our organization continues to be set for future long-term success.”
As long as it doesn’t involve him resigning. From which the brand could immediately say they tossed the limp wrists.
Then they come out with an advertising campaign showing old staff being tossed out by new staff that are sports loving, American people. Think Terry Tate office linebacker and Ari Gold’s paintball tyrade on entourage.
Then get back to the 90’s and 00’s style campaigns that made the beer a complete and overwhelming success.
There. I just fixed Anheuser-Busch and people keep their jobs.
But ohhhh no. Gotta keep swimming in controversy.
Where in the hell is the BOD at AB and what are they doing? Is the entire top of the company this incompetent? Is waiving the gay flag THAT important that you don’t mind sinking a major brand?

The layoffs are all corporate people.
Not the bottlers or distributors. They will have their own layoffs.

Y’all are celebrating 400 Americans losing their jobs, most of which likely had absolutely nothing to do with Bud Light’s stance.
It's tragic but they are just collateral damage in a bigger battle being fought to restore sanity in this country.
How many people lost their jobs during COVID because they refused to take an experimental and ineffective vaccine? Way more than 400.

This is tragic, IMO but ultimately the fault of the companies leadership and the lack of accountability from the board and shareholders to drive change.

CEO has turned into a real piece of shite corporate stooge. I’m sure he’d just love to suck off Dylan if the opportunity arose

The top corporate leaders who signed off on this BS will all keep their jobs. There is no real leadership or accountability these days.

Plenty of jobs at the other brands. Best of luck to them.

Pretty serious outcome for an ineffectual boycott.

Yeah but the OT is happy, so that is all that matters.
Yes, the OT has the ability to cause these things to happen all by itself. A lot more than the OT is happy, keep bowing to the forced social score.

I agree with this but the blood is on their hands. Businesses need to not bring in politics and alienate their customers and their employees

No. We are celebrating the failure of a massive corporate company who inserted itself directly in the middle of a major culture war that will define the sanity of our citizens going forward. It's unfortunate for the people losing their jobs, but that's what happens when the company they work for does shite that will force them to lose business.
