"On June 4, 1951, Jimmy Lindon Sr. 68 of Lafayette, was born to the late Elizabeth Lindon and Stepfather Joseph L.J. Bruno, and Mitchell Gotch. On March 3, 2020 @8: 22a.m. God called our beloved father home.
During Jimmy's lifetime he had several jobs, but none could compare to the love of his kids, cooking making boudin and hog cracklings were his favorite. Jimmy also love to fish, go hunting with his hound dogs to get rabbits, the horse rac trac was a big hobby for him. Of all things daddy love to do, his favorite was chasing women and making kids, we like to think of daddy as “A Rolling Stone ".
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 43 years; Christina Lindon and his live - in companion of 25 years; Paula Gilbert who love him dearly and took care of him. Jimmy has 15 children, sons; Jimmy Lindon Jr., of Rayne, step son; Shane Jones, Solomon Lindon Sr. of Lafayette, Jimmy Lindon III, of Lafayette, Jimmy Lindon IV, of Lafayette, daughters; Rozena Lindon of Lafayette, Kamilah Alexander of Lafayette, Yolanda (Jermard) Zeno of Carencro, Sachwander Pattum of Lafayette, Quintella Lindon of Lafayette, and Brittany Lindon, step daughter; Dawn Gilbert, of Lafayette, Shanquie Lindon of Church Point, and last but not least baby girl; Precious Lindon, of Lafayette. The man liked cooking, and the man liked fricking.
I swear he may be the mascot for half of South Louisiana.

It was like he had two families. The first time I was introduced to all of them at once, it was crazy. Paulie and his brothers had lots of sons and nephews. And almost all of them were named Peter or Paul. It was unbelievable. There must have been two dozen Peters and Pauls at the wedding. Plus, they were all married to girls named Marie. And they named all their daughters Marie. By the time I finished meeting everybody, I thought I was drunk.
