I believe the hottest market is currently L.A.

Way too soon. But not bad work.

Realtor.com has Colorado Springs as #1 and it is nowhere to be found in the top 50 on Zillow.
How is that possible?

This was like that one-time Whitney Houston died.
I got a text within the hour of a lighter under a spoon saying let's raise our lighters in honor of Whitney Houston.

A few years ago, I had some work relocation options I was looking into, one of them was an area between Buffalo and Rochester. Honestly, the place looked great. I was looking more at living near the Rochester area than the Buffalo area but that entire region appealed to me.

Rochester has some beautiful neighborhoods and is affordable. The biggest downside is obviously the winters, which might not be that big depending on what you’re used to and where you’re coming from

So it's gonna be a reverse migration to some of the biggest shite holes in the country? I'm all for it.
(Charlotte is awesome though).

If you're thinking of moving to Buffalo, go look at property there in early February and check back

I can see the appeal to it for some with remote work and the astronomical cost of living in certain areas. There are some rust belt cities that I’ve been to that get a bad rap on here and with folks in the south in general when in reality a Houston, Atlanta, Dallas, etc has many of the same issues
The southern cities may be more vibrant but that’s not what everyone is looking for. The biggest X factor is the weather obviously

I have a friend that lives along the St. Lawrence River (just across from Ottawa) and she absolutely loves it. She lived in NC for several years before moving there.
But they also get a couple feet of snow and their area is prepared for it because that’s the norm for them.
