Rust Belt cities are making a comeback.

Yeah, I've done some tours around the Rust Belt over the past few years and there's certainly some cities that have a reputation from the 80s that doesn't match one's experience visiting today.

Pittsburgh and Milwaukee were both pretty cool too. Lots of restoration in thriving neighborhoods that retain a lot of cool 1940s-60s architecture.

Oklahoma City area is super nice. Go there for work quite a bit. It is great city. It’ll be a nice part of the DFW metroplex monster in 50 years.

Wow, you might actually be retarded. Try buying a house in homewood or mnt Brook right now.

The reason those areas are expensive is that they're in the 15% of Birmingham that you won't get murdered/robbed etc if you live there. Not caused by growth just shite options

Zillow on crack

Everyone from Buffalo is moving more outside of that city to the finger lakes, Rochester, Amherst areas

The graphic is clearly based on regions. No one is moving to Birmingham, Alabama, proper.

Don’t bother arguing with blzr. He’ll ignore facts, call you retarded, then move on to his coloring books.

go there every couple of years to see family and catch a Bills game. For some reason I get really cold and really drunk every time.

I bet you have a good bit of fun too

In all seriousness, I think that the city has a really solid camaraderie

Hard luck team, rust belt, rough weather…. The folks that are bought in are really bought in.

And there’s just something about a stadium in a neighborhood where you are tailgating in people’s yards
