I ordered 15 items on Sunday night. All items were Amazon Prime items. I received all 15 by Friday. Many different packages but all accounted for.

Honestly, for the first time in 5-6 years, most of my shopping has been local. Prices, availability and shipping concerns have loomed large for me too.

FedEx sucks on days with normal shipping traffic. With the increased traffic for the holidays FedEx is terrible

Mine too. Internet sales tax and more and more stores price matching has influenced it too.

They have been awesome for me.

I was stuck home all week and couldn't drive and used Amazon's Prime Now to have a few items delivered to me in less than 2 hours and then used their restaurant service to have them deliver me lunch from a nearby restaurant one day.

Also have ordered various packages(being stuck at home and I've done a hell of a lot of online shopping ) and all have come on time.

ETA: If you live in a city that offers the Amazon Restaurant service...they frequently send out emails and flyers for $10 off your first order and free delivery.

The only Amazon orders I've had issues with lately have those that were shipped via UPS. Every one that UPS brought has been delayed, some for two or three days extra. Each time, the package showed as being at the Port Allen depot for a couple days before it was actually delivered, so that doesn't seem to be on Amazon.

I've noticed since they switched to USPS the 2 day shipping is rarely 2 day shipping any longer and checking the status I see "Cannot find address" a lot. I guess they are buying time since they cannot get here in 2 days, because they come to my house almost every dam day.

It absofrickinglutely is on Amazon. They sold you Prime on two day shipping, they picked the carrier, and their carrier failed. If they know that it's not going to get there on time, they need to let their customers know up front so there's the option to pick the slower shipping and take Amazon's usual discount they give you when you willingly select regular shipping.

Hold their fricking feet to the fire. Their customer service is fantastic, but that doesn't mean they can promise and not deliver and they need to know we're pissed.

We're they prime items with guaranteed delivery dates? If so, contact customer service. They'll likely refund part or all.

If not prime, it's your own fault.

So contact them. They are quick to fix any issue you have.

Whining on a message board does nothing.

I started a thread after Thanksgiving where I had over a dozen Prime packages all delayed for days and had all my other UPS packages delayed from other vendors as well. At one point UPS was delivering to my neighborhood 3 times a day, two times would be in Budget rental trucks. The closer it has gotten to Christmas the better UPS has gotten and now most packages are coming on time. This was the first year I had ever had that level of issues.
