They could save a lot of time and money by just doing a reality TV show in Liberia

if it's anything like black run cities I'm imaging shining beacons on the hill in terms of education, wealth, literacy and crime prevention

Look...Lake Charles to the left and Lafayette to the right.

We only have one more day before we head back to the ship.

Look at the natives hunting. Come on Johnny, we must go inside now.

Was maybe a bit of an exaggeration.. but many southern cities had black populations greater than white populations, and the state of South Carolina was 65% black before the war.

In the Deep South the overall population percentages were 55% white and 45% black.

It's just an alternate history series. I'm not sure why people find it offensive.

Not that I plan on watching it.

If it's anything like the boondocks it will be pretty funny and self deprecating, much like chapelle's show which everyone loves.

I have a hard time believing amazon would be dumb enough to spend money developing some radical drama white people will hate when statistically they're who pays for streaming services.

That actually was the case in South Carolina and Mississippi. I don't think it was the case in the rest of the South though.

For however long the Amazon series is, I'd rather watch the following in lieu of it.
