Yes, The Man In The High Castle. Nazis control the eastern seaboard across to Colorado area. The Japs control the Western portion. The show is pretty good actually. Season 3 is filming now I believe.

Common misconception is that Carver invented peanut butter. He did not create Peanut Butter. He did create peanuts and found several other uses for them.

Ignoring African-civilizations. And to be African is not directly correlated with being black.

You are murdering grammar right here.
And I don't think that anyone would dispute that sub-Saharan Africans are incapable of having a civilization or even an empire.
They just weren't advanced. And they thusly were conquered by more advanced peoples.
Suggesting that sub-Saharan Africans contributed to scientific advancement instead of Visa-versa is just asinine and anti-history.

I actually agree with you completely.
I would even go as far as the say that most African History courses diverge away from actual achievements in lieu of trying to make a comparison with Western Cultures.
Now that being said, there are contributions that Africans made that were overlooked at the time of their creation. Even Europeans did this with their own history (minds like Galileo and Da Vinci were appreciated long after they had died).

And for the record, other races were not exactly the best at civilization building either. Whites today adore the Japanese, but no one brings up that fact that after the Sengoku Jidai they were basically an isolationist country with no technological advancement for 200+ years until the US forced trade.
And the few guns they did have were 16th century trades from the Portuguese

Only 3 of those seven were even true sub-Saharan empires. It's not a slight, it's a fact. The rest of the world was simply more advanced (read Jared Diamond's Guns Germs and Steel for a good explanation why). Afrocentrism is a rejection of fact in order to support a fantasy. You can be proud of where you come from without believing in absolute poppycock.
