re: Alright I’ll be that guy. What’s with the recent push to stop circumcising young men?

I know someone that was rejected head for not being cut. Some American women are weird about that. But foreign / hispanic women wouldn't care.

They claim it decreases the sensitivity.
If mine was anymore sensitive, I’d never get anything done.

Data is more accessible now showing it's not really medically necessary.
The risk/benefit calculations basically come down to it being a preference...and with that conclusion not doing something is technically the safer option.
Quite a few dads these days who are circumsized but their kids are not.

This is just bizarre to me to say the least.

Evidently its better for sex to not get circumcized or its more sensitive and enhances sex.. And I thought it was done because if its not circumcized its likely to have more bacteria buildup, but evidently that's more of a myth.

We didn't circumcise our son. My sister in law circumcised both of her sons, one of them twice and a correction because it was botched.
Opinion is shifting on this because people have more access to information. Circumcision comes down to aesthetic preference.
When we chose NOT to circumcise, the pushback we got was basically limited to "don't you want him to look like his daddy?" and "isn't it cleaner to snip it?".
I don't know any father/son duos comparing shlongs and an uncircumcised penis is no different than an uncircumcised vulva- they are basically self cleaning and only need the same attention as the rest of your body parts in terms of washing in the tub or shower.

People with nothing better to think about. That's basically what a lot of "causes" amount to.
Living lives of comfort and leisure has created generations of unserious people obsessed over silly things. Manufacturing horror and outrage at mundane things is the occupation of the dull mind.

Looks like it's pretty easy to tell North Koreans from South Koreans.

The reason for circumcision is no longer extant. People bathe regularly now. Why should we circumcise?

One less thing for the insurance companies to pay for. I wake up, there’s another psy-op

Why would anyone want their kid to have a pencil eraser for a dick?
Go see the Rabbi and tell him to take a little off the top.
As Abe Lincoln said “Foreskin and seven years ago..,”

The answer is: it’s always rich white women.

I’d be so mad if I had hippy parents who didn’t do it to me because of some silly cause. Absolutely the right time to do it is when the kid won’t even remember it.

In the US, yes.
In North Baton Rouge and other 3rd world countries, it helps

HIV Prevention: Evidence from several randomized controlled trials in high-prevalence areas of Africa demonstrated that voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) significantly reduces the risk of female-to-male HIV transmission by approximately 60%.
STI Reduction: Medical male circumcision has also been shown to reduce the incidence of other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including human papillomavirus (HPV) and herpes simplex virus type 2 infections.
Public Health Rollouts: The World Health Organization (WHO) and UNAIDS have recommended the scale-up of VMMC in 14 priority countries in Eastern and Southern Africa with high HIV prevalence and historically low circumcision rates as an additional HIV prevention strategy.

Let me get this straight…a state that supports transitions of minors to another gender has an issue with circumcision?

So you're saying if i wasn't circumsised i would have been skeet skeeting all over the place the second a lady touched my snuffleupagus back in my teenage days instead of the usual 30 seconds after insertion?
