Well, there were witnesses and they did come forward. They just aren't being recognized by the city.

What does this mean? I haven't been keeping up with the thread.

It means cops fail to make an arrest in 40 percent of murders nationwide, in urban areas the number is closer to 60 percent.

it means the police lazily contacted the witnesses who came forward and have essentially done little to nothing with their testimony.

BRPD appears as disinterested in this case as they can be. They never appear interested in any crime, but they are outdoing themselves with this one considering how much publicity its generated.

In the press conference they denied that a witness existed.

We need to airdrop reward leaflets like we did in Afghanistan.

All of which sounds like a Bill Hicks skit on the LA riots.

“It’s 420F in South Central LA, here, Suzy. Probably a good time to get out of the fricking city. There are gusts of lead coming up Sunset.”

This is what gets me. The sheer terror she must have felt. This has to be eating at her parents.

Paul is an amazingly strong man. I couldn’t do what he’s done, though I only have one child.

He has others to consider

You don’t recover from something like that if you’re a parent. That would be my worst nightmare. So senseless, and I hope the shite(s) that did this die a horrible and painful death.

You’re absolutely right, I have an 18 year old daughter and reading his words brought tears to my eyes. I don’t think it’s possible that I could ever be the same person after something like that. It would change me forever, God bless that family.

something tells me even if they come forward, they’ll still end up somewhere no one can ever find them again

I have a feeling there will be more to the story than what is being assumed.

It was in a bad area at 2:30AM so you have to assume the obvious, but at the same time you can't rule out anything else since, as for as the public knows, there isn't much evidence.

It seems like they would have cameras up now to monitor that whole area. To see if there is anyone who around that area late at night, early morning. See if there is anyone who comes around when a train passes during those times. Because if anyone knows anything it would be anyone else out there at that time.

I think someone said she was at Beer Garden, but either way she was likely somewhere around that area, there are too many places from that point to the train tracks to not have at least a few cameras to see if anyone could have been following her. She stopped off to get fries, there should be video of her in the drive through. There is a building by the tracks, with the big tower right by it. I thought that place had multiple cameras. I could be wrong, but that seems like the best chance of finding a video that enough details to put them in some direction.

I wonder if her father received the name of the detective that is on the case?

an innocent girl was executed. we know that much. as for evidence, does BRPD seem interested in evidence to you?

No thats my point. Like I said, I would think there would be at least a few cameras from the point of the bar she was at to the tracks.

Sorry, I was thinking things out in my head and what I was getting at was that there are a lot of businesses along that stretch and I would think they would want to try to get as much video as possible to be able to see her traveling from point A to point B.

Clearly if someone was following her, they could either locate that person or rule out that it could have been someone from the bar.

As easy as that sounds, I honestly believe they don't have the man power to do it. I think thats one of the problems with the BRPD in general is that they are grossly understaffed. That's my theory at least, I just wish there was a way to find that out.

A lot of officers quit when MP took over so if they are understaffed that is because of him. And being understaffed is only hurting the city. The mayor's job is to make sure the police department is doing its job, which means having the amount of police on the street to police the whole city (which they obviously don't. People are able to street race on College Dr and only be caught by the street light cameras and videos people post on social media). So if she was truly trying to make the city safer she would get rid of the Police Chief who no one wants to work for.

Im sure there are former cops who saw this coming. So if they can't even collect what they are able to to help solve this case then that's a pretty big fricking problem.

Chris, I won't lecture you too bad but please read the thread or keep up with it before making a dozen long-winded posts per day repeating the same shite or theorizing about shite that has been proven or disproven with facts.

Allie went up to Barcade after her shift at the Shed to accompany her friend who was closing the bar alone. This is VERY common and VERY smart. Many restaurants won't let an employee take out the trash alone after dark for the same reason. The Buddy System is tried and proven.

When Barcade closed Allie and her friend left in their respective vehicles. Her friend headed east on Government and Allie headed West(she may have bought fries first or had them from earlier). Allie was stopped at the tracks.

That's IT. That's ALL she was 'guilty of' or 'getting in to' that evening. The speculation and 'theories' are absurdly repetitive, baseless, and disrespectful.

And I'll repeat myself in this thread: If you don't think random senseless shite like this happens to amazing people, Just look at what happened to Shelby Holmes in 2013 less than 4000 feet from where Allie was murdered.
He was one of the most incredible people I've ever known. The night he was gunned down, he was 'guilty of' living in in that neighborhood and walking home from his job at the River Center.
