No. He didn't. He was running around the truck and the shooter literally walked around to engage him with firearm in hand.

Nope. You can’t park in the middle of the street, wait for someone to get to you, jump out with a shotgun in your hand and call the other unarmed guy the aggressor.

Read the DA’s report on the incident and get back to me. Arbery ran to the right around the truck, then took a hard 90* turn left running towards the shooter. The video shows this as well.

Well and it makes it worse that Dad is former, long-term law enforcement. At that point you can make the assumption that he would know what a felony is and know the citizen's arrest law in Georgia. So he can't feign ignorance of that.

yes the unarmed guy not engaging who is cut off and confronted by guys with guns clearly is the aggressor
like i said on the poli board, unless there is some magic video evidence to show otherwise, Ahmaud Arbery would have been justified in killing those 2 pieces of shite when they confronted him with guns. it doesn't work the other way around unless you have an agenda priming your internal biases

No it doesn't. I literally just watched and screen shotted that.
The video is wobbly from where we see him go to the passenger side and straightens back up when he's at the front of the truck.
Any "engagement" by Arbery at the front of the truck is negated by the fact (and it's a fact) that the son got out of the truck AFTER he was already on the passenger side of the truck and engaged Arbery with firearm in hand.
You can't argue self-defense when you leave a position INSIDE the truck to engage an unarmed guy running AROUND your truck who is not even remotely close to "charging" you. And one that you were parked and waiting for to arrive.
Arbery had every right to defend himself when he saw that the guy who walked around the truck to meet him was carrying a fricking shotgun pointed at him.
Now had Arbery ran around to the driver side while the son was still in the truck and tried to grab his firearm, you MIGHT be able to make that argument. But then you still have to argue that Arbery wasn't endangered by the man in the back of the parked truck who also had a firearm pointed at him and was waiting on him.

Judging by that screenshot, looks like the dad possibly already had his gun locked and loaded pointed at the guy. And from the video it is clear to see the son was standing outside the car driver-side door with his shotgun while victim was jogging up.
I swear, if these guys manage to escape this scot-free without any charges then this will be maybe the biggest abberation of justice I have personally ever seen in my life.

So we don’t place any blame on the guy hopping out the truck with a fricking shotgun?? C’mon man.
Btw, and this will be huge in this case, they have statements from neighbors saying they’d see Arbery jogging all the time on that street and he’d always wave to them. These two shitheads are fricked and it’s absurd they’re not in fricking jail yet.
