I guess I was referring to your words.

Not a bad list, agreed on states like Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Oklahoma being at the bottom.

Each state you listed has incredible diversity. Maybe not Mississippi but whatever.

What's your point? There's a small section in the northwest part of the state that has nice scenery? (Overrated btw) The rest of the state blows.

Shreveport to Little Rock would likely rank last in every single metric if it were it's own state. Lump in the MS Delta for some extra levels of awful.

Yep, I currently live in that area and I have no doubt it's the biggest shite hole in all of America.

Exactly. And if you just turn one highway to the NW, you go 49 to Texarkana to 71/Dequeen. Before you know it, you're driving North through the best part of Arkansas SW to NW. It's a treat.

These guys are cute that visit whatever city has the largest airport in a state for a couple days and they think they have experienced anything about it.

Stopped reading right there. I have no doubt this self important, bloviating “travel blogger” hasn’t hiked the deep recesses of the mountain west. Being in Denver isn’t knowing Colorado.

To the people mad about his rankings: He's ranking his personal favorites. This isn't based on people, economy, education, etc.

The problem with this is that its based on someone visiting.

So yes, if you rank states on traveling for a few days multiple times, California will be very high up.

I love visiting Chicago, but not chance in hell I'd ever want to live there

California #1…… lol. That’s a great and accurate list.

I assume this strongly held opinion is based on extensive travel throughout the state of California and not simply a mindless regurgitation of internet memes.

I can't read the list because it makes me sign up for it, but let me guess - All Democrat States are in the top 10?

Absolutely.

No way would I live there in the current political climate. But visiting can be fun, if you go to the right places.

I've driven through Nebraska more than a few times.

On average, it's flat and boring. Hope you like corn

Geography and weather sure, it’s just sad they’ve managed to turn it into a communist hellscape.

I find it amusing that he claims that New Orleans is the only redeeming part of Louisiana, and I find it to be the most repulsive.
