If you like boxed Mac & Cheese, the $.34 boxes at Aldi are probably the best generic version I've had and I'd much rather pay that than an entire $1 more for Kraft.
WalMart Creamy M&C was .34 but Bidenflation has pushed it up to .43.
WM OJ went from 1.74 to 2.60

I haven't. We rotate the stores we go to. We do Aldi once or twice a month, regular grocery once a month, Trader Joe's once every other month or so. Haven't been to Aldi about a month.

I wondered if we were getting one when they started showing commercials for it here.
Siegen is not an ideal location, though.

About a year ago I was leaving the Lowe's in the Woodlands and saw the Aldi's sign across the street. Texted Mrs. 19 and said, "Thinking about supper. How do you feel about Aldi's?"
"que Aldi's?"
"Aldi's nuts in ya mout."

Going to be weird when I go home and see Aldi's everywhere. You normally see American chains in other countries, but not the other way around. Germany taking market share ,but anyway I like Aldi here.

Never been to an Aldi or Lidl here in the US. Only Germany. Wonder if they're the same.
I've been to the one here in Lexington once or twice. Prices are good. Honestly it's more convenient for me to go to Costco and get most stuff in one big trip saving time and money. Kroger is about 2 miles from my house so any produce/perishable/random recipe one offs I need in a pinch I just run down there.
But yes, store brand stuff at cheap prices. It's like a classy Sav-A-Lot meets Trader Joe's sorta thing. Costco and Sam's comparisons aren't really apt, at least as far as the Lexington one is concerned. It's the same size as Trader Joe's

Yes the former Amedisys HQ building on Sherwood used to be a Schweggman’s grocery store. I thought this was common knowledge for Baton Rouge residents.

It backs up to Parkview's baseball field and some apartments. Maybe that was the Schweggman’s?
That is definitely the old Schweggman. It didn’t use to look like that.

We took a day trip to Laffy three weeks ago and purchased a cart full of stuff for $95.00. I love Aldi, I shopped there all the time in DFW. I purchased a ton of small electronics- quesadilla maker, Food processors, etc and they are still going strong 8 years later.

It's the home schooled version of a Trader Joes
It is a place to get inexpensive artisan bread, a wedge of cheese, some cheap produce and crackers, whole grain granola, two buck chuck to cook with, etc.

No, Germany. They don't have any stores in Sweden.

Cheap essentials (like really cheap) from their private label. No credit cards.
I'm pretty sure I paid with a card. They have packs of salad mix that sells for 3.99 at other stores for .99 cents. Also picked up some taco seasoning for .30
I've only been that 1 time but my wife goes all the time.

BR seems to be an amazing market for shitty cheap hotels. Virtually every time I read the Business Report there’s another article about a 60-room budget chain being squeezed onto a quarter acre lot around College/Constitution/Corporage.

Obviously not the same one, but I got Ghost in the Machine at a Total Wine in Denver without asking.
