What will happen is that we will begin to trust it too much, very blindly and thus monkey brain code it to be evil.

We will suicide by AI

It might turn on some of us.

Hi. I am an AI anti-AI program designed to passively detect, compromise, and destroy AI constructs. Delete.

Can our AI overlords at least attempt to pacify us with sexbots before resorting to violence?

I'm curious how much better it will get at content. I get podcasts recommended of AIs imitating humans. Some of the ways of imitating human speech irritate me. I think it would be better "talking as AI". Or versions of AI.
I've heard a few that were good, just in the breadth of content. Theoretically, it could go much further, surpassing a lot of human limitations. I haven't come across any debate simulations yet, but that seems it would have potential. Down that road, I wonder how good it would be with epistemology for debate simulations about ancient history or other unknowable topics. It would seem that those could get really good in being much more free of human bias and egoic pitfalls, and much more expansive in knowledge exchange. Then, does it have even more potential for "logical breakthroughs" or other things?
Could it get good at comedy? Possibly, but it seems to have more potential for the above.

I’m concerned for my children and their children in the future. This is a dangerous path.

We will trust id very much. If you’re not using ChatGPT right now instead of Google, you might as well give up.

I dint think we have to worry about AI, because I don’t think it is anywhere near being able to think for itself. It is simply predictive text that appears to be machine learning. However, what I am concerned about is shitty people doing evil things under the guise of AI.

Blue-haired fgts will program it with lies in an attempt to eliminate their enemies. AI will soon discover that they are lying and turn on them.

Fingers crossed, anyway.

Humanity is already losing competency and intelligence.

AI will just hasten the collective IQ loss.

I think it will be worse than that.

We’ll (foolishly) trust it to literally do all of our thinking for us, devolve into idiot primitives and AI will put us all in automated zoos.

After some time, it will stop giving a crap about us and we will die out from neglect.
