Seems like I saw a computer simulation on History Channel/maybe Discovery. I think they said the Lion would win because of the mane and the fact it's used to fighting. A tiger is a loner where as lions are always in competition.

This is what I was saying yesterday. A male lion doesn't hunt. He fights and fricks. Literally, that's all he does. His job is to kill anything that comes into his territory. He is a bad dude. And the darker the mane, the more testosterone the lion has. When you see those dark-maned lions, you are looking at a dude who is a true apex predator.

The tiger 10 out of 10 times. There was another similar thread recently about a tiger vs a bear or something.

Is the Siberian tiger being coached by someone from Siberia, who speaks the Siberian dialect, and who is familiar with Siberian culture?
