One of the strongest bite forces in the animal kingdom. Not to mention its neck is incredibly strong.

Does it protect it from being over 20% smaller than a Siberian?
this doesn't make any sense.
protection is protection.

Yes it does. Lion is significantly smaller than the tiger. You said the mane is the difference maker. It's his protective shield.
Hence his post.

if anything its an equalizer for the size difference.

I just watched two amazing videos of Jaguar vs lion and Jaguar vs tiger. Both the tiger and the lion before it was all over with just wanted to get away.

Sure it does. The Siberian Tiger is over 20% larger than the African Lion. Do you think that the mane of the lion will overcome that size difference?

Jaguars are pretty bad dudes. My dad had experiences with them in South America.

I read somewhere that Jaguars are the only cats you can't tame.

The real fight would be between a female lion and a Jaguar. Jaguars have to be kept separated from other cats. Trainers accidentally put one in a cage of big cats at a zoo in Germany. It killed two female lions before they could get it seperated from the other cats.
Jaguars are the quickest and most athletic of all big cats. They move like house cats. But the largest onces can go between 200-300 lbs. "Larger males have been recorded to weigh as much as 158 kg (348 lb)"
Like SabiDojo said, they have the strongest bite force of any cats at 2000 psi. Greater than both lions and tigers.

Yep. Like smaller, distilled versions of tigers in America. 300 pounds of jaguar is fricking scary.

It's not large enough to be considered a "big cat," and is actually classified as "medium-sized," but the coolest and probably most athletic cat IMO is the Caracal.

A tiger and it wouldnt even be close.

You find one in the wild where their natural instincts and magical abilities can flourish and they would wreck shop.
That would be quite a feat considering that a tiger's natural habitat is in Asia (mostly SE Asia) and a lion's is in Africa.

Siberian Tiger
what do I win for the correct answer?
