I am still wondering why he is at Istrouma HS while living in Watson. When he was arrested for the school crimes he had a Denham address, so living in Livingston is not new.

Fascinating....seems like the first gang shootout in history where the people who got hit were some kids from a private school an hour away in Laffy.

Given his background why would you expect him not to say something like that? His statement and Jeff Landry’s are both 100% correct.

Earlier in the talk he made it clear with his line in the sand and targeting certain people remarks.

We need action, they already passed the largest police raise and made BR a leader in pay now - solving a serious issue causing us not to have enough cops.

I want to see actions not just words that make me feel good. The combo of Sid and Landry will be good for BR. Classic good cop/bad cop.

Truthfully he’s not wrong - tons of kids out there would never do something like this but will be branded as such based on appearance or where they live. Given Sid’s background it’s not surprising he says this and is the responsible thing to say - knowing what’s coming up next in the speeches and what he said himself 2-3 min before.

Landry has the right mindset - we just need it in action. I think you will see this be a catalyst for much needed change.

For the record Sid is nothing like AOC that alone is laughable. You either don’t pay attention, don’t know him or have some sort of political derangement.

I’m behind Landry and Sid on this - our real issues is the criminal justice system and judges etc.

You act so smart but you are part of the problem. Statistics do not lie. This group you are talking about are the rule not the exception. Teen takeovers, violent videos everywhere on the internet with them involved, etc. A majority of Black youths have violent behavior and it's well documented. Single mom homes are the highest among blacks and this along is the sole reason but throw in the no dads around and kids that idolize drug dealers and rappers equals todays black youth in areas like Chicago, Baltimore, Baton Rouge. Sure there are successful black youths and most are due to fathers being involved just as other races that have fathers involved.
