Kind of weird to turn yourself in and get charged with murder if you were in a different place
To be fair, that part isn’t really weird at all. If you’re completely innocent and they already have an arrest warrant, turning yourself in after lawyering up is the smart move.
I’m certainly not saying that I believe the family members, though.

Idk if it's been discussed, but family members of the first guy who's been charged, Markel, have been on Instagram claiming he didn't do anything (lol) and that he wasn't even at the mall at the time.
He didn’t do anything? Shocking.

The kid has a long record, his family is useless in this matter as they have been in raising him properly.

St. George Chief Todd Morris is extremely well respected and qualified.
He’s run off a lot of the homeless in the St George area. I’d vote for him again based on on that alone.

Can someone give me the details here? I’m guessing from the comments that this kid was out on bond. For what?

“At this hour – what I can tell you is that investigators involved in the Baton Rouge incident today at the mall can not confirm that the Person of Interest detained in Watson earlier today (now identified as Marcus Washington) was a participant.
Unfortunately for Washington – during our investigation this evening, he was found to be in possession of Sch II CDS Narcotics and a Firearm. He was arrested by LPSO for those violations and booked into our Livingston Parish Detention Center (or LPDC).
This is an ongoing investigation that may take different turns as it continues.
Again, this is why we prefer to wait for the facts. We also understand that our citizens were/are concerned.
You may have seen – and will see – a heavy increase of our deputies’ presence as this continues because we would rather see pro-action than re-action! Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
In February, Washington was arrested after a gun went off inside a classroom at Istrouma High School. He was ordered to wear an ankle monitor and charged with carrying a firearm on school property, illegal possession of stolen weapons, and illegal use of weapons.
On Monday, April 21, a commissioner downgraded Washington’s monitoring system from an ankle monitor to a phone monitoring system.

A stolen weapon with a switch, discharged IN a classroom... 2 months of an ankle monitor.
White man's "laws" don't mean shite with ZERO consequences to back them up.

Sad. And, yes, Sherwood Forest was very nice. I wish gov assistance would be reformed. But likely not in our lifetime.

In the west people work their asses off to get taxed to hell to pay for a completely useless class of people that are prone to completely senseless violence and murder.
The number of criminals on welfare...we are feeding criminals to violently ruin our society.
