umm - this doesn’t apply to me or any of my friends

Most elected politicians who make these laws that keep thugs on the streets are men. Well, “men.”.

A similar shooting happened not too long ago where one group was disrespecting the other group about the way the girls were twerking.

Something about them being over weight, the way they were dressed and smelled.

Have we heard what the motive was yet?

Unjust? An illegally armed Alton Sterling was clearly going for his gun to shoot cops lawfully on the scene to investigate a community complaint again Alton Sterling, and this POS thinks the solution is to protest law enforcement rather than the culture that led Alton Sterling, his son, and these mall killers to freely engage in dangerous criminal behavior?

I hope he campaigns on the “unjust”killing of Sterling, and expanding the support for ghetto culture behavior. As if that is how to improve Baton Rouge.

Active shooter is just the stupidest term. So what if the guy pops off a few rounds in the mall and then decides to go shopping for 20 minutes.? Is he a semi active shooter? A non-active shooter? It’s just a term that the media loves to throw around so the public pictures some guy with machine gun just mowing innocent people down. And every mong brainlessly repeats it.

I mean they're fatherless and raised by their moms and grandmas, and we all know first hand how emotional and irrational they are

And the blame falls squarely on the absent father and mother who blames YT people but they will never accept responsibility.

That’s freaky and can’t even fathom this lifestyle. Don’t even know where this part of Baton Rouge is. My areas were Old Goodwood and Greenwell Springs that is now Central. And back when Broadmoor, Tara, Sherwood, Shenandoah were ok.

Add in Sherwood Forest and my old stomping grounds were the same as yours.
Rap music videos and the prospect of a "Thug Life" gave them a hope for their future.
It didn't work out but they're still trying and we are still suffering because of it.
Rap music and the videos are only a small part of the problem.
The number one cause of the social nightmare we're in is government assistance.
It is holding them hostage.
It must be reformed.

He targeted areas, public behavior, and prosecutions. Baton Rouge has the tools to do the same analysis of areas, criminal profiling in those areas, and making the analysis results actionable and proactive.

You forget that when Rudy did it we didn't have an entire panel of activist judges wanting to make a statement by continually releasing violent criminals into the streets. We have plenty of arrests here in Baton Rouge. More than you could fathom. Unfortunately if its not an issue of no space to house them, its an issue of a judge ready to release them because they're tired of seeing the police jam up their people.

A chain is only strong as its weakest link and our court systems link is made of wet paper.

Idk if it's been discussed, but family members of the first guy who's been charged, Markel, have been on Instagram claiming he didn't do anything (lol) and that he wasn't even at the mall at the time. Kind of weird to turn yourself in and get charged with murder if you were in a different place

These people live in a parallel reality from us. I don't know if there's any solution for a community like that.
