BMI has a lot of flaws and is based on a formula derived from the 1830s.

BMI has some flaws.

I have no doubt that America is too fat, but BMI proponents ignore the obvious drawbacks in this measurement.

Full disclosure: 5'11.65", 185, BMI says I'm "overweight"

Insurance companies love them some BMI.

It's true. If you cut our carbs, you are literally producing more glucose in your system & you'll start craving more of what actually makes you fatter, sugar.

Keto is one of the dumbest fad diets I've ever seen take off. People need to see someone with a degree in dietetics if they want a true, healthy diet. Not some instagram nutritionist or "life coach" with no certification.

Nope. It has been proven over and over again that this line of thought is incorrect. Limiting carbs is and forcing your body to burn fat instead isn’t a good thing to you? I agree about the sugar. Americans have a sugar addiction.

No it hasn't. You can get just a much protein from plants to be healthy and avoid increasing your risk of heart disease, lower your blood pressure, reduce the chance of diabetes, and obviously reduce support for the most inhumane practice in the world.

The myth is that you have to eat meat to get all the nutrients you need. Wanna guess who came up with that myth?

Our benevolent government in combination with the meat industry I’m sure is what you’ll say.

I disagree with your assessment that meat is the cause of some of these issues. Numerous studies refute this.

If there's one thing I learned from the debate around Gamechangers, it's that there are numerous studies that refute or prove anything you want them to when it comes to nutrition.

This is probably true. I don’t think there’s some secret formula that requires you eat an entirely plant or meat based diet to be healthy.

We way over think this. It’s really as simple as limiting sugars, carbs, processed food and exercise regularly.

People will blind themselves by the articles about studies without actually looking into the source or sample.

Anything to justify something they inherently know is wrong.

Says the guy saying to avoid meat and eat only plants so as not to support such a horrible industry.

You don’t have an agenda at all.

Agreed (other than carbs).
