You don’t have to avoid meat to lose weight

You don’t have to, but it can certainly help.

Keto 100% works for people IF they combine it with regular exercise.

According to that “chart”, I’m obese.

I’ve got about thirty I could lose, but obese seems kind of harsh.

Might need some ice cream now that I’m sad.

Saying this is not respecting animals. It’s clearly agenda driven. I respect animals the same as you. Probably more because I doubt you’re involved at all in any real conservation.

Why do you say this? Have you tried limiting your carb intake?

My brother was talking about how great Tony Chachere’s No Salt seasoning was and that it was healthy. It has no MSG and Total Sugars are 0%!per serving. But the first ingredient listed is Brown Sugar and Sugar is listed again later in the label.

Tricky.

LOL they still use the BMI from the fricking 1950's. Gotta continue classifying people as abuse, so we can continue pumping pills into their gullets. Also, using this shite chart, nearly 80% of Sports athletes are obese. Congrats, in shape, muscle bound guy, ur obese.

Correct. It is inappropriate measure to use because so many people you encounter every day are in the same shape as pro athletes

I run ( HITT) at least 3x per week, and walk 5-6x week.
Weights, only 3x per week.

Ive exercised for years. 58,resting HR 55, no meds.

BMI says I'm overweight by 3-4 #.

Personal experience. I eat plant based and consume a shite ton of carbs.

I'm not trying to sell anyone on my diet and if low carb works for people I say good for them. But at the same time I'm not going to try low carb myself. I'm also not trying to lose weight, although I lost a significant amount when I originally transitioned to strict vegetarian (without even paying attention to carbs). My weight is fine, my blood pressure is ideal, my labs are good, and I have a lot more energy then I did when I was eating the standard american diet. SAD is the real enemy. Eat a standard american diet and you end up with standard american diseases.

I don't think my way is the only way, I just know it was the way for me.

About 4 in 10 American adults are obese, and nearly 1 in 10 is severely so, government researchers said Thursday.

Just left walmart and those numbers seem reeeeally low.

Different things work for different people.

If there's a majic bullet, it is exercise, IMO.

TIL KCl is the same thing as brown sugar. Why would you lie about something that is so easy to Google?

no, but I miss feeling stronger. I could exercise more than walking.
