I have done it since 2005. After a while, you miss the benefits of an office but those can be greatly outweighed by the other benefits. It's just what you value more.

Is life “back to normal” for the 95 year olds and 400 pound people that could literally die due to you going to work?
That's the ones eating their bag of cheetos with their gloves on and their mask hanging around their neck. I feel said for dumb, useless people, taking up all my essential air and toilet paper.

Man, you sound like a pussy.

But can you fart in the office like you can working from home? Think not.

I wish I could get quarantined for a week or 2. I'd love some time off

Their shitty lives weren't so shitty after all. Now they are dreading retirement.
I sure the hell wouldn't be sitting in one of my spare bedrooms for 8-9 hrs per day if I was retired.

My home office is as comfortable or more so than my work office. I've always worked some from home but it's usually a few hours here and there.
I have 2 - 24" monitors, leather chair, nice desk. I still don't like being cooped up in my house all day.
Same except I have one giant 40 inch monitor.
That said, I don't want to work from home permanently. Working from home 1-2 days a week would be ideal, and I can already do that (although I didn't do it before this with regularity).

Boss said quarantine over, get back to work in the office instead of at home. Good adult interaction, free coffee, and two screens to work with: one for TD and one for work. Life is getting back to normal boys. Merica
You're just happy you get to jack it under your desk while leering at the receptionist, aren't you?

I don’t understand the count and psychos who don’t feel this way.

fricking boomers trying to make us go back to work in a shitty office. I’m working on my porch right now with my coffee soaking up some sunshine. You old fricks want to put us back under those fluorescent lights and surround us with monitors and slowly kill us bc your home life sucks
You know you can quit that job....right? Seems you're fricking yourself. Stop blaming others for problems you've brought on yourself. You were damn fine with working in the office when they hired your unemployed arse.

There are a lot of guys on this site that lead pathetic lives. The post about wanting to be away from his wife got 30 upvotes.

Being with your significant other 24/7/365 isn't healthy imo

I’d wager that desperately wanting to be away from them isn’t either.

At times, I do miss working in the office. I'm not sure Id want a job where all I do is work from home. I enjoy getting out of the house, and it is healthy to have day-to-day interactions and conversations with people besides my wife. If I had it my way, I would go into the office Monday-Thursday, and Friday is a work from home day.
To be honest, being able to have sex with your wife in the middle of a workday is a major benefit of working from home. Im not quite ready to give that up just yet.

Your boss is a great American. Hopefully more bosses around the country will soon think as yours does. Time to get back to work and bring this charade to an end.

Boomers created the current working conditions. My generation is improving it. Once we get y’all out of power it’ll be much better
