The problem with most of you, you have to find the right office to work in. We are very laid back, I wear shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops to work everyday. We can do this because all of our clients and jobsites are out of state, so no unexpected pop-in visits from clients. We also have a kitchen that's kept stocked with drinks, snacks, and breakfast foods that we cook every morning. I was missing my free coffee, eggs, and sausage every morning at 6am. Besides, I was getting a sore arse working at my dining room table. I'm glad to be back in my comfy chair with a multi-screen view to work with.

If you find a job you enjoy, working for a great company that takes care of you, working with a friendly/family type atmosphere, you'll enjoy going to work everyday. That's the goal in life: make as much money as you can, doing the least amount of hard work, and having fun while doing it.

Well, she works nights and sleeps all day, so I had to keep fairly quiet in the house. I'd sneak in there when I'd hear her get up to pee, but it was a roll of the dice if she wasn't grumpy and and willing to entertain a little action. Besides, she was starting to complain of swelling and soreness from giving it to her several times a day.

n 2020, people are bragging about being back stuck in the soul-sucking office all day. What a year.

Their shitty lives weren't so shitty after all. Now they are dreading retirement.

There’s nothing worse than the kind of person who “thrives” in an office setting.

Not if you like the people you work with.

In order of preference...

1) Working from home with the kids in school
2) Working at the office
3) Working from home with the kids home

That's because men are relearning why we invented the office to begin with. Getting away from our wives.

I told my wife if they closed my office I was going to rent an apartment

You don have to thrive, just prefer it to working at home. I totally get it.

Imagine a time when people would rather work at a office with people than at home

I just got set up at home, my work office/gaming room is OP anyway. I'm on 2 week quarantine because my gf worked on a positive patient at the hospital. I'm on day 3 and I'm ready to GTFO out of the house

My home office is as comfortable or more so than my work office. I've always worked some from home but it's usually a few hours here and there.

I have 2 - 24" monitors, leather chair, nice desk. I still don't like being cooped up in my house all day.

We are rotating weeks going into the site. Last week I went in all week and it was good to be back and interact with the workers instead of just having 3 labs staring at me all day wanting to play while I was on conference calls and answering emails. At least when on site, I can go out in the field and walk around for a while checking things out and not be stuck at a computer.

I'm doing work that usually requires three monitors on a laptop. It's burdensom. I really miss the people though. I could acclimate to working at home except for the social aspect.

My wife was allowed to bring her work setup home, my department doesnt.

It’s really sad seeing the amount of down votes this is getting. It’s a bad sign when the OT has become a bunch of pussy hat wearing Karens bending over so the big bad government can save them.

This! Multiple screens are required for some types of work. A tiny laptop is great for traveling and getting a little work done on the road, but not for everyday use. I felt like this all day.
