Boomers created the current working conditions. My generation is improving it. Once we get y’all out of power it’ll be much better
People born in 1963 didn't establish office work environments

Working at home is fantastic. I wish I could do this permanently.
I totally agree. I'm loving it, but I'm not one of those who needs social interaction to be happy as I generally hate people.

Boomers are 1946-1964 baw. The older ones are at fault, but I’m not about to subdivide. Boomers are the current CEOs and the previous CEOs. They’ve made up a large amount of the chief executive positions for decades. They’ve had a disproportionately long time at the top of the food chain

Dumb...theres not known cure or vaccine yet your boss opened his doors up. So what happens if you get sick? Will it be your bosses fault or yours?
Even if you and the next have quarantined for 2 weeks, can still contract it from touching anything or from anyone. You never know where the next person has been or touched...

The problem with most of you, you have to find the right office to work in. We are very laid back, I wear shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops to work everyday. We can do this because all of our clients and jobsites are out of state, so no unexpected pop-in visits from clients. We also have a kitchen that's kept stocked with drinks, snacks, and breakfast foods that we cook every morning. I was missing my free coffee, eggs, and sausage every morning at 6am. Besides, I was getting a sore arse working at my dining room table. I'm glad to be back in my comfy chair with a multi-screen view to work with.
If you find a job you enjoy, working for a great company that takes care of you, working with a friendly/family type atmosphere, you'll enjoy going to work everyday. That's the goal in life: make as much money as you can, doing the least amount of hard work, and having fun while doing it.
Who would downvote this?
Good for you, I’m jealous and can’t wait to be back in my office

If someone in our office gets sick, how the hell will they know where they got it from? Could have gotten it from anyone anywhere. If you're going to get it, there's not much you can do about it unless you stay in total isolation for the rest of your life. I'm not obese, old, or black, which are all proven high risk groups. We're all working in our own offices and washing/cleaning/sanitizing the common areas and our hands constantly. Not much more you can do to fight it. You can't be a pussy for the rest of your life.
