When it comes to the actual events of that day, there is really nothing to be skeptical about.

For both the non-conspiracy people and for the conspiracy people who have an open-mind, I suggest reading The Black Banners: The Inside Story of 9/11 and the War Against al-Qaeda by Ali Soufan.
It has great background info on al-Qaeda, detailed info on the USS Cole investigation and it depicts how provincialism in the intelligence community helped contribute to the September 11th attacks.

never understood this dumbass conspiracy shite...why in the fricks would we slaughter 3000 of our own people???
argument I heard:
3000 is a small percentage in a larger scheme.
even 300 would be 300 too many

This won't affect the structural steel beams (supporting the floors) which is effectively one homogeneous structural unit and can stand on their own.
Yeah... but even structural steel has it's limits. There's only a certain amount of people allowed at a time on the upper decks of the Eiffel Tower or the observation deck of the Statue of Liberty, for example.
You don't think the added weight of a commercial airplane and increasing amounts of debris from the floors above the impact MAY have been a little too much weight bearing down a key load-bearing area?
There's a reason you don't see many skyscrapers designed to be "heavier on top"...much less designed to withstand sudden onset exponentially heavier weight with bonus radically uneven distribution. Now if structural steel was just one large single piece molded seamlessly into the exact shape and size required - Then maybe. But it's not. The fact is that it's formed from thousands of pieces put together with precision...but not perfection. So who's to say the ONLY way this could've happened was with some level of internal demolition in play? Somebody's going to have to build 2 sets of WTC towers and crash jets into one set...then compare it to crashing jets into the other set AND using a sinkhole weapon. See how they compare. Until then - Consider me anti-conspiracy.

Not to mention the targets that were hit... think about that for a second...

Mr. Howard explains that WTC 7 was “loaded with explosives in strategic places” in the month leading up to the day that changed the course of American history. On September 11th, while the North and South towers burned, fuses were ignited in World Trade Center 7, and nanothermite explosions hollowed out the building, destroying the steel structure, removing the reinforcements, and allowing the office fires to tear through the rest of the building, hollowing it out like a shell.

The cognitive dissonance is too strong for any normie to believe even with the overwhelming evidence of fabricated government told 9/11 story.

Evidence used very subjectively here. People believe what they want to believe.

There is some confusion in this thread.
People are conflating two main themes:
1. Characterizations of actual events, and
2. Motivation behind the events.
IMO and many other independent professionals opinion's the events described by government agents are not supported by the evidence; physical, visual and first hand I witness accounts that occurred that day.
Once number 1 is well established then number 2 can be fully vetted. Number 1 was never correctly established. The mood of the country at the time, people were not that interested in why it happened. Planes flew into the buildings and that was good enough. I was there at the time too. At the time a blue-pill normie explanation sufficed because the country was ready for revenge.

There's more professionals who disagree with you.
My Structural professor in college went through an example about how it was entirely feasible for the impact to take down the building. I'll trust him over you.
You also seem to be representing yourself as an expert on structural engineering yet you said you were mechanical... isn't there something in the code of ethics about that baw?

I rely on other structural engineers design structural systems. I can seal and entire project under my supervision as long I have the appropriate disciplines under me. In terms of this thread I'm relying on the expertise of these engineers, architects and scientists: LINK

Yes, misrepresenting your credentials is not only unethical but in some cases illegal.

you compared the world trade center to an apartment fire in a building 1/5 its size (that also wasn't hit by a massive airliner). No one takes you seriously. But this is good for laughs so please keep going.

I could put an article out that said the sequence of Mike mascots at LSU were genetically modified russian spys who were supported locally by the Klan. Some moron would forward it to another moron on social media.
