I never got the whole wanting to fight people because they root for a team other than your team. Kind of retarded, lowbrow, low class, nonsense.

I think a majority of the fighting at sporting events is fine upstanding white cultcha. Except LA, where it is usually Hispanic gang members.

I'm sure the Astros fans were trash talking him the whole time, he finally said something back, someone took offense to it, and hands were thrown. "Bitch" and "pussy" were most assuredly thrown out there as well

You think it was the Astros fan that started the trash talking? Dodgers fans have been in Houston all week chanting "frick you cheaters" at every Astros fan they see, then did it at the game.

I love how people here don't think they would stick up for their own team if something similar went down. Not saying start fighting, but most any fan will take up for their team.

I can confirm that Dodger fans are the worst as I see them multiple times a year here in Arizona.

But Dodger fans only act like TPOS when they have strength in numbers.

What I saw was a man, a woman and a child surrounded by Astros fans. I am willing to bet Astro fan was doing some more than just crap talking to get this guy throwing.

P.S.

Its no different than people who fight because they have different political views.. But people are just stupid. They are at the game, start drinking and then start saying shite to people..

If you can't drink in public without acting an arse, then either drink and watch the game at home.. Or go to the game and don't drink.

“Dodgers fans” in Houston is like “Bama fans” in Louisiana. You know what you’re doing by supposedly being a fan of them. You’re stirring the pot. You’re being THAT GUY. I know there’s a bunch of Cali transplants in Tx but I guarantee majority of these so call dodger fans are Texas born and raised who just want attention.

You don't do that in front of your little kid. That is beyond trashy.

Yeah, that's the tragedy here. If a person is going to talk shite and fight so be it but to do that right in front of your toddler is just irresponsible. There's some awful people out there

There were a lot of Dodger fans there last night, seemed like at least 35-40% of crowd.

Every fan base has that segment which actually feels proud when a fan supporting their team ‘wins’ the fight. I’ve seen a few comments online about this fight from Dodger fans gloating about it. That may even be worse than getting in the fight because you never know the events leading up to it.

I can say that I’d never get in a fight like that. Then again, what if a fan spits on my wife/kid for simply booing Pujols (or a call)?

True, but everyone's doing it and as a fan you would still take up for your team if you were in the same situation.

Everyone is doing it now because they couldn't last season. Doesn't make it right or wrong, it's just a fact as to the why.

As a fan, I don't/ won't come to blows over words about a sports team, no matter how much I like them.

There is absolutely no reason to physically fight over a sporting event or team.

I will only come to blows to protect my family, friends, or myself.

Don't start none, won't be none.

That section looked like it was about 10% Dodger

Exactly. I don't know what provoked the fight.
It could have been Dodger fan screaming crap at the home team and was asked to stop or maybe it was liquid courage from the Astros fan and he started yelling vulgar crap about Dodger fan's wife or little girl. There are other ways to handle that situation before it should come to throwing down.
