what did you run track guy? I loved the tartan outdoor track. My high school had a hard red clay track with ruts in it. It gave me spin splints.

Had some fun times there back in '03. If anyone finds a hundred dollar bill folded into a star let me know. I lost it there one drunken night.

I lived in Jackson in 2003 and the window unit had just been put in like the summer before.

Place was falling apart by then but we loved it

since some mentioned the Stadium Dorms, I like to mention: Charles Whitman the marine scholarship guy who was also the Austin Texas University Tower Sniper, dressed a deer in a dorm's shower stall. He'd fit right in at the Stadium Dorms.

if ever you interview at one of those high tech companies in Austin, and they proudly point out the University of Austin, it is worth bringing up to see the shock in their faces.

I remember during my two years there (96-97, 97-98), a sheep was kidnapped and rode in the elevator for an hour or so...

Lived in there during the same 2 years and I remember that night lol

‘82-‘83. Lots of memories. One in particular is getting caught on an elevator when a fight erupted between a 340 lb dude and a 270 lb dude. Fun times!
Did come away with many lifelong friendships though.

'79 & '80, 2nd and 4th floors. Generally walked the stairs to avoid the elevators.

I remember my phone number from the dorm. Area code in BR was still 504 then.

I remember the floor numbers but not the room numbers but I remember location of said rooms.

Crazy that in the mid to late 80s many of the men's dorms didn't have AC. Kids are such pussies these days.

Women's dorms didn't have A/C either.

All of the dorms in the horseshoe and Hatcher, Hodges, Johnston, the stadium and the Pentagon were all without A/C when I was in school.

I chose Evangeline and Annie Boyd because the rooms were bigger than the A/C dorms.

I had a corner room in Annie Boyd so there was cross ventilation.

Edited to add: Oops, I forgot about East and West Laville.

We I lived on campus in 98 we called Kirby "the projects "

It was rough and the elevator smelled like piss. Though my dorm at Johnston had no AC or heat so they were better off I guess.

Never stayed there but I did get a BJ from some random girl in the stairwell during a party there my freshmen year in 99.

I lived in McVoy for one semester and that was enough for me of on-campus living.
