No idea why, but this commercial for Oxy's Residon't has stuck with me.
Maybe because it so perfectly encapsulates the early 90's.
You have grunge chick and grunge dude wearing their flannels. Blossom hat girl. And of course the guy with the Color Me Bad style purple sports coat and slicked back hair. He's probably complaining about the Soundgarden playing in the car, and asks why they can't listen to Freak Me by Silk instead.
With a cameo by the stereotypical nerd who just doesn't get it.
