His wife is giving him a shite test that he is failing. Tell him to take the red pill and buy her some warm clothes and then sit her down and tell her how it’s gonna be. She wants him to win this subconsciously. The sex will get better as soon as he handles this.

Yep. If they can't even agree to compromise on the AC temperature they were doomed from the get go.
It's possible they are both passive aggressively trying to get the other to be the one that takes the initiative on the break up.

I would absolutely be getting a divorce if my spouse wanted to keep the house at 75 and certainly if they put the heater on 75. 75 in the summer is not the same as 75 with the heater on. That is just stifling hot with the heater running. I could not live in that house. They'd be out or we would be putting down a lot of money to get a separate unit/thermostat in another room and it would become by mancave and I would never leave.
I don't see why she can't just put on warm clothes, use a blanket, sweatpants, etc. Sounds like she is refusing to budge because she hates the guy and wants him to be as miserable as she is.
