A buddy just told me his marriage is failing because of the ac/heat temperature in home

Ran into my old college roommate, he claims his wife wants to keep ac on 75 and he likes it on 69. He said it’s a constant battle and it always leads to other arguments. I literally laughed out loud. He told me it’s amplified during winter when she puts the heater on 75 and it makes him dry.
Fist off I hope he doesn’t post here and second has anyone heard of a worst reason to divorce or argue for that matter.
Also I didn’t ask why they can’t meet in the middle

I like my house warmer than most people probably do, but 75 for the heater is way too hot.

they have a much bigger issue than AC/Heat/Room Temperature. Both are entirely too selfish to find a compromise that make sure both partners happy

Ole boy needs to get a man cave, a space heater, and never leave that room.
Or nut up and come to grips with the fact that his woman is looking for an excuse to leave. Shes probably been banging the pool boy for the entire spring/summer

She resents him because he can't satisfy her sexually. That resentment has translated to other more petty areas of life.

My sister’s wuss of a husband is always whining about the house being cold. She told him to put on a sweatshirt.

I keep my AC on 70.
Heat on 69 during day. It goes to 65 10pm to 6am.
