This is unreal for June.

Based on what?

And the same thing causing these high temps (big ridge of high pressure) also protects us from hurricanes.

How has nobody figured out how to cool ocean water yet?

Just need a big arse pump to get the deeper cold water to the surface. Seems like it would take a lot when scaled out.

No way God throws another major at Louisiana for a third year in a row. No fricking way. It's gotta be someone else's turn this year.
.

This summer is starting off dry as a bone and shows no signs of changing. Hurricanes hitting the southeast are unfortunate for the coast but they bring sorely needed rain inland. All part of natures way of fixing issues in the cycle. My suggestion is that if hurricanes are that big of an issue, move away from the coast. The rest of us need them.

Like when the “scientists” told us 40 years ago that there was a hole in the ozone layer caused by hairspray?

That's why I prefer to go in the water in March when it's still chilly and a lot safer.

Nothing that you posted disputes that this could easily be the hottest summer in living history.

I’m not saying it’s man-made. The temperature of the earth has always fluctuated. Man didn’t cause the ice age. Man isn’t causing this warming trend. Over billions of years things change on levels no egg head can understand or explain with any certainty.
