I mean, it is beyond easy to not click or respond to certain threads.
Apparently, that is too hard for you.
Even my 2 year old understands that you can change the channel or click on something else.

If you're anywhere and see the "teens" coming.... Just leave as fast as you can.

I think Pensacola, FL had a shooting as well. One dead, 6-8 injured. 19 yr old in custody. The deceased was 16? I probably got all those numbers wrong because I saw it on my friends page before I got to work.

i find it mildly amusing the same posters who would tell you to: ignore it/change the channel/don’t watch/create your own platform/why do you care? when posters complain or mention anything about the overt, over the top, in your face LBTQLMNOP+ shite or the endless push of DEI initiatives. Are the same ones complaining or whining about threads showcasing the real life results of culture, disgusting PRIDE shite, or pedo shite pushed into children.

Just more proof that the FBI is "lying" on their UCR information.....

Why not have a master thread so everybody can consolidate their super original "I"m judging them by the content of their character" and "The fatigue is real" comments? Seems really repetitive.
Why? Do you think that would make the actual violence go away? Because throwing money at certain communities for 60+ years sure hasn't seemed to pan out......

If separate threads is fatiguing for you, imagine what constant violence carried out by one subset of the population does.

I absolutely agree, however you obviously didn’t go near the bus station or moore square if you didnt see any bullshite
And glenwood south is a shithole now
Was about to post the same exact thing. I’ve been in NC for over 30 years and this includes having lived off Glenwood when I was younger.
The problem with Raleigh isn’t necessarily the homeless, it’s the uptick in gang activity (or stupid kids that think they’re gangsters). I don’t know what it is, but kids are just dumber these days and commit stupid crimes in broad daylight. And there are small pockets of really bad neighborhoods spread out all across Raleigh. Theyre small and surrounded by nicer suburbs with the exception of some areas of southeast Raleigh. So you’ll hear of a shooting that happened close to a nice part of town, but it really happened in the subsidized housing complex next to the nice part of town.
It’s still a huge problem though that must get under control. Some of these teen takeovers are happening in “safer” areas

She must have been pretty sheltered. Raleigh is no Mobile but there are literally 3 HBCUs within 20 miles of each other in Raleigh and Durham.

My office from 2012-2014 was on E Hargett, located next to the bus station and Moore Square. May have been the time, but outside of the usual low-rent behavior it wasn't too awful. Don't get me wrong, it was bad, but it wasn't overly violent like this. That little pathway from the bus station up by Taz's was always a treat.
Have only been down there a few times to go to Bida Manda or Brewery Bhavana since they renovated Moore Square and the bus station and can't speak to what things are like now.

They didn’t try it in a small town.

You know Taz stabbed and killed a teenager a few years ago in his store? Anyway, I’d say that area has gotten a little worse since COVID, but I venture less and less into downtown myself these days.

I'd heard about that. Somewhat big news and controversy around it. We're out in Holly Springs these days so my visits are limited to downtown as well. We used to pop in to go to Marbles when the kids were younger, but those days are long gone.
