We now have 30+ year olds that either don't remember it or barely do.
We are as far away from 9/11 now as 9/11 was from Jimmy Carter winning president in 76
..time moves on eh

Just a big misunderstanding since "Some people did something."

NYC has a filthy Muslim mayor.

I remember the 5 year anniversary TV specials and thinking wow it’s already been 5 years. Time flies.

I would say my best personality trait is that I keep it very real.

Yeah. I was 23 when it happened. I’m now realizing it’s more than half my lifetime ago.

I was 16 and am a huge fan of American history so it has stuck with me and I remember it like it was yesterday. I watch the anniversary specials every year because there’s always some small detail or new recording that I have t seen or heard before. I can tell you just about my entire day that day and when I think of NYC today, my mind goes to 9/11. When I fly I look hard at everyone on my flight and size them up to figure out a plan of action if they try anything. It’s just a natural thing my mind does because of that day.
To see people who were young children or not even born yet talk about 9/11 as if it was some sort of joke or not that serious low key infuriates me nowadays. NYC’s mayor just blows my mind. “We will never forget”? Well that was obviously bullshite!

Time moves on whether you like it or not. The further removed people are from the actual event the less they care. That’s just how it is. So if you tell a random 18 year old about the Alamo and They’re like “what? But I’m trying to get concerts tickets for Saturday”. Can you really blame them?

Those who don't study history are doomed to repeat it, or something like that.
I mean less than 25 years later, and muslims are in charge of some of our major cities.

quote:That's messed up and slightly insulting to me as a person who was a small child when my old man took my family to the observation deck of one of those towers. I have literally stood on the top of one of those buildings only because my father took us there. That makes me a fricking gangster and I'm a big dog now
