Not much of a defense to murder.
It will be if I'm on the jury....

I question anyone's intelligence who would contribute to his GoFundMe.

I know one thing, based on what I have read and what people thought of Big Lee, if this case ever goes to trial, he will never spend a minute in jail.

What Higgins did seems understandable, but not justifiable. He is going to need a jury full of folks who hated Big Lee. I hope he does time because I don't want a world where it's OK for you to be killed just because you pissed someone off.

I agree.

Years ago there was a student worker working in the department I worked in at the time. Long story short, he was a college aged kid. There were some people who lived down the road from him, who kept giving him a hard time. He came into work a few times with scratches on him, one time he had a bandage on his forehead and he told us he was riding a friend's motorcycle and come to find out, they jumped him a few times, which is why he had scratches and bandages.

One night they did it to him again. He went inside, got a gun and went back outside and shot the main guy who was giving him a hard time, went back inside and waited for the police.

We found an application for a gun permit in his desk. He was 20 years old. He got life in Angola.

I would imagine this would be similar. It doesn't matter what Big Lee did to him in the past or that he sprayed him with the hose pipe. It wasn't self defense. Forget the hate for this Big Lee guy, this was cold blooded murder.

You don’t seem to understand the meaning of cold blooded murder. This situation is the exact opposite of that

kige all of that.

Anyone who makes the assumption that the old man being found not guilty is a good outcome hasn't thought hard enough about what a bad outcome that is for the general public.

If I lived in that neighborhood I'd buy a lottery ticket. In one week you've seen the top two neighborhood nuisances respectively killed and jailed. Property values are bound to go up unless Pops Tourino walks for the manslaughter.

He was good in that movie. What a quirky, weird/dark story. The real Bernie got out of prison for like 2 years a few years ago, but then was sent back again for life based on the same charges.

Higgins was allegedly crazy himself though.
