Just because you say, "without a doubt" doesn't mean there are no doubts. I, for one, doubt it.

So let's see some proof, evidence, numbers, links, etc... to prove your contention that the "vast majority" of the 100,000 US public schools teach CRT.

This comment shows how dishonest you are being itt.

You changed my statement to "teach CRT" because you know what I said is accurate. You're right, the vast majority of public schools are not teaching CRT to students. Teachers ARE being taught these concepts at university and school systems ARE using it in diversity and inclusion training to train teachers HOW to teach.

CRT isn't being "taught" to kids, it is being used to change how all kids are being taught.

ETA: Here is an article with examples from the most recent school year: LINK

Honestly, I find it hard to believe you can find a school system where these principles AREN'T being implemented. Maybe in some very rural areas, but even then I doubt it. If a school system isn't actively seeking out non-CRT-infected textbooks, then CRT exists and is used to teach children at that school system.

True. Most people don't need to be able to read at this level.

School systems all over the country do not hold children back for failure. These kids simply get pushed through the system until they are ejected into the general population. These young adults have little to no practical skills or experience to function as independent/productive citizens.

This is a sad reality that we have created with low expectations.

When I worked for labor, I found out documents sent to the public are at an 8th grade reading level. That's what the average person can understand.

You think I'm being dishonest for thinking "teachers pushing CRT" means "teaching CRT"?

...and then you crawfish and say they're not "teaching it" but they're "using it to teach".

...and I'm the one being dishonest?

Equity in education produces these kinds of results.

This is why equity in employment is so damaging to companies. People are put into positions they are not capable of doing.

Explains a lot.

Sure does. It explains the ignorance, the spiritual void, the inability to do much of anything in the work world, the handicapped vocabulary and communication skills, and if nothing is ever done in them to correct this, the utter hopelessness most of them are facing in the future. This feeds upon itself though. With the lack of reading comprehension comes the lack of a desire to read, which begets one who is addicted to being entertained and corrupted by more nefarious stimulation. If you're not edifying, educating, or better your self and growing, you are simply a lump of nothing who will act as a sponge that soaks up everything you come in contact with and with no rudder to guide you because of your ignorance.

at anyone who believes public schools is the issue here

Ain’t it a cowinky dink public schools in good affluent areas produce educated students, and those in trash areas produce shitheads?

If you took Plaquemine High and St. John of Plaquemine and flipped student bodies, what do you think would happen?

We had dumbass shitheads at Catholic High. And guess what happened? We processed them out of school or they graduated with a smooth 2.0. We didn’t change them. Now if you have Catholic an entire school full of shitheads they will look just like a Public School

You left off the most critical part of my statement that shows how dishonest you're being here.

quote:

Educators today are trying to push critical race theory garbage into every aspect of learning

That phrase at the end makes it clear I'm not saying they are directly "teaching" CRT. I'm starting to think you can't read at an 8th grade level.

quote:

...and I'm the one being dishonest?

Maybe that's not fair. It is possible that you're just stupid and truly do believe the nonsense you're spewing.

In related "WildTchoupitoulas is a moron who is completely blind to what is going on in education today" news, the largest teacher's union in the country called for major changes to school policing yesterday, at a time when most schools are trying to ramp up security efforts. Can you guess why? LINK

quote:

93% of the 6,000 attendees voted in favor of the new measure, which places an emphasis on meeting students' "social, emotional, and physical needs." It creates a task force to organize and collect data on school issues, then meet with national partners, local officials, and "racial justice advocates, allies, and community activists." They, first and foremost, wish to end the school policing of students, and now many parents are wondering if security will be reduced or eliminated on campuses.

quote:

In addition, the NEA plans to offer "culturally competent" teaching after developing strategies to end gaps in disciplinary actions. This is where some parents grow more concerned because security in schools is often needed to protect hard-working diligent students from disruptive individuals and even gang members. With less school policing and softer disciplinary actions, that take students' race or culture into account, students are divided and no longer offered equal treatment which often leads to dissent and destruction of student togetherness.

By "into every aspect of learning," I mean EVERY aspect. Including the literal safety of your children. You're free to pretend the NEA doesn't have major influence on school systems in our country, but they're just following lockstep with the current US Department of Education in their push to "push critical race theory garbage into every aspect of learning."

See how clearly that statement reads?

ETA: I'm sure you think it's completely unrelated, but they also voted in support of changing "mother" to "birthing person" in contracts. LINK

Biden beat Trump by 12 points among college educated, vs about 4 points overall.

Among white, non-college educated, Trump cleaned up with 67%. By far his best demo.

For those in favor of poll tests and such.

America spends more money in the public school system per student than anyplace else in the world.
What are they doing with the money?
