Relax soy boy, let’s not forget they were breaking the law and coming here illegally. Tragic? Yes. Innocent? No.

Mexicans aren't smuggled. They fly, walk or drive through entry ports. It's relatively easy for Mexicans and Canadians to enter. Overstay is the issue.

I love people that say this and have no idea what they’re talking about. Sure overstays happen but we are catching thousands a day, A DAY- at the border and guess what?

They’re not just Mexican, they’re from all over central and South America and Haiti.

We are absolutely being invaded slowly but surely every single day. And half the time when we catch them Biden’s policies don’t let us deport them. We give them a court date, a cell phone and $2k of your tax dollars on a prepaid card and tell them have a nice day, welcome to the United States.

It isn't really semantics if one group is taken against their will and another willfully enters into an agreement with a coyote to get them into the country illegally.

I think it’s semantics in that coyotes and human traffickers are likely the same people, imo. They would be using the same smuggling routes which are controlled by some bad dudes.

I agree, but I don't see the connection here. Enlighten me, if I'm wrong.

I think sneaking dozens of people through the border in a truck and then leaving them to die slowly rather than face getting caught is something that a human trafficker would do, and probably not anybody else. That’s admittedly speculation on my part though.

This can be blamed on the complete failure to secure our southern Border

Didn't we just have a President that ran on promising to build a wall to fix that? Hmmmm....

We got some legal Mexicans on work visas.

After seeing how they work compared to Americans I can’t be upset they come here. Just gotta solidify them as Republican voters

Just need to educate them truthfully and the solidification as not being dem/lib voters will be common sense.

Was gonna say that's 46 votes the Democrats won't get at a major election but then again, wasn't it about it 25% of Biden voters that were dead?

Call it human trafficking or human smuggling, but I can assure you nearly every single coyote is operating on behalf of the cartels. The cartels own that side of the border and even though our border is as porous as a sponge, their side is tightly controlled by the cartels. It is extremely difficult to get across without money or nightmare inducing services being exchanged.

I agree.

human trafficking or human smuggling

I wouldn't likely call this particular case either of those.

Those people in that trailer likely exchanged one of the two. They were most likely (I'll acknowledge that this could be human trafficking to a different end other than illegal immigration) people breaking our immigration laws who paid in some way to get another person or group to bring them across the border illegally.

That isn't the same as what the term "human trafficking" has come to mean. Unless we're all supposed to be okay with lumping all illegal immigrants into the same group as sex slaves and such. I'm not, as one of those groups seems to have a choice in the matter.

It comes down to differentiating between the willfull participant and the person who was abducted or kidnapped and forced into leaving their home country. I have a boatload of sympathy for one. I have a bit less for the other.
