John Lennon was a true, beta male, soy boy

And save the comments about his personal life/politics. Everyone knows that he was far from perfect.)
While most of what you say is ok to claim, and some true,....unfortunately he did want his politics and his empty philosophy to influence the world, so it must be held against him in some regard.
You'd have a point if he was private, didn't write about his beliefs, and just wrote amazing pop songs. But he tried to influence everyone with his rhetoric so you can't just ignore the political in terms of Lennon.

The Beatles progression from “I Want To Hold Your Hand” to the sophistication of “Sgt Pepper’s” in only four years is astonishing.
The Beach Boys “Pet Sounds” also changed the course of rock music in that era.
I consider the Stones as the best “garage band” ever, but those two albums more than any others influenced the genre going forward.
Both are works of genius.

Yep. He'd be right-of-center in today's political climate.
They’d have canceled him by now.

And Darby Crash, who would have been a real jerkoff if he was alive today.

Don't you think he would've went further and further left just like the rest of them? Wasn't he a hardcore socialist in the 60s?
He wouldn't be a hardcore socialist today with all the other socialists?
I think he would've be a big voice for this movement.

Great musician and brilliant writer. A piece of shite father.
I’d say more of a piece of shite husband/partner as well. He used to beat on women in his younger days. But he at least recognized and atoned for it a bit and gained some perspective about it later on in his life. See his lyrical contributions to Getting Better for example.
I used to be cruel to my woman
I beat her and kept her apart from the things that she loved
Man, I was mean but I'm changing my scene
And I'm doing the best that I can
But I can separate an artist’s personal issues from the music. shite, I love Michael Jackson’s music and we’re all pretty sure he diddled little boys.

Gone way too soon. I wonder what other hits he would have created.
Hes most memorable for the Communist utopian message of "Imagine."
