I took a communication law course back in the day. There has never been total freedom of speech in this country and it’s actually tiered.

That doesn’t mean it’s not indicative of an extremely worrisome and legitimate change in society’s views. They hold power outside of voting. These politicians cater to them in pathetic fashion regardless, their mob mentality gets people fired and influences our pop culture at large, and as a general matter, they’re fascist tactics are generally offensive to the senses.
